About: 

Prof. Dr. Ola Eriksson is the former chair of the COST Action Forest Management Decision Support Systems (FORSYS). FORSYS played a vital role in gathering the community and is the predecessor of the forestDSS CoP. Ola is trained in forestry and economics and has been professor of forest management planning at SLU since 1995. His main area relates to long range forest planning, i.e. the use of the forest resource considering a horizon of some hundred years.
