I am former vice-chair of the COST Action Forest Management Decision Support Systems (FORSYS). FORSYS provided a synthesis of the experience and expertise worldwide of developing and applying decision support systems in forest management and contributed to the foundations of the forestDSS CoP. My research and outreach interests: Development of models, methods and decision support systems to address current challenges (e.g. climate change, multiple demands, collaborative needs, participatory concerns) faced by all actors involved in forest ecosystem management planning and land-use planning (e.g. non-industrial forest owners, the forest industry, the public administration and non-governmental organizations).
