The University of Portsmouth has taken the initiative to launch a cross-faculty Centre for Operational Research and Logistics (CORL) to recognize and enhance our worldwide reputation and standing in Operational Research and Logistics. CORL brings together multi-disciplinary expertise on the Science of Data and Decision Making from across the Department of Mathematics, Faculty of Technology, Portsmouth Business School and the Institute of Industrial Research at the University of Portsmouth. The Portsmouth Business School is offering two PhD bursary to strengthen further the CORL.
The International Conference on Operations Research (OR2015) is jointly organised by the German, Austrian and Swiss Operations Research Societies. This is the last call to submit your abstract for the IUFRO 2015 biennial Forest Landscape Ecology conference on "Sustaining Ecosystem Services in Forest Landscapes". The World Forest Institute in Portland, Oregon USA has one scholarship available which will cover the program fee for a 6-month Fellowship at the Institute. The scholarship is currently open to European nationals only.
The Scholarship covers the $5000 USD fee that the applicant would normally pay for a 6-month program. This Scholarship DOES NOT cover the costs of the visa application or airfare. These costs would be incurred by the recipient of the scholarship.
