Workshop - Reconciling agriculture and environment by the open-access GeoSpatialDecision Support System LANDSUPPORT
You are invited to participate in the workshop “Reconciling agriculture and environment by the open-access GeoSpatial Decision Support System LANDSUPPORT” that will be held online on the 18th September 2020 (2 pm- 4pm CET) at the iEMSs 2020 conference.
The workshop will focus on the LANDSUPPORT H2020 project (https://www.landsupport.eu), whose aim is to implement a web-based, open-access GeoSpatial Decision Support System (S-DSS), which will contribute to the development and implementation of land use policies across different spatial scales in Europe, promoting an integrated and participatory approach towards rural development and environmental policies and allowing, among others, evaluation of trade-offs between different land uses.
This hands-on workshop will guide the users through the LANDSUPPORT S-DSS platform and specifically on two tools from European level to regional/local scale: (i) Pollutants transport & groundwater vulnerability and (ii) Land take & Land Degradation Neutrality. Finally, an open active discussion with the workshop participants is foreseen!
