Professor of Forest Planning

The University of Eastern Finland is seeking a Professor of Forest Planning. The position will be filled with open-ended contract as from August 1, 2022 or as agreed. Please find more information below and submit your application no later than 3 March 2022.

Role and salary 

Professor of Forest Planning works in the School of Forest Sciences on the Joensuu campus. The School of Forest Sciences belongs to the Faculty of Science and Forestry. The professorship will be filled with open-ended contract as from August 1, 2022 or as agreed. A probationary period will be applied to new members of the university staff. The salary of the position is determined in accordance with the salary system of Finnish universities and is based on levels 8 - 11 of the job requirement level chart for teaching and research staff (€4,877.25 - 7,186.92/month). In addition to the job requirement component, the salary includes a personal performance component, which may be 6-50% of the job requirement component.
