Open Position: Assistant Professor in Forest Management at UBC

The Department of Forest Resources Management in the Faculty of Forestry at the University of British Columbia (UBC), Vancouver, Canada seeks a tenure-track Assistant Professor in Forest Management. The UBC Faculty of Forestry conducts national and international research and provides undergraduate and postgraduate education in forest management, forest sciences, conservation science and management, and wood science and processing. The successful candidate will teach within the undergraduate forestry program and will also be expected to develop courses at the graduate level, contribute to the Faculty's course-based masters programs, and develop a strong research program that includes supervising graduate students. The candidate should have expertise in at least one of its components (e.g., spatial/temporal modelling of forests, scheduling of operations, decision-support research, operations research, forest/wildlife habitat modelling).
