This issue, our first in 2020, includes –in addition to our regular articles–a special topics section based on outstanding research presented at the MCDM2019 meeting in Istanbul and guest-edited by Ilker Topcu and Ozay Ozaydin. Our essay section includes an essay by Kirti Peniwati on the role of AHP/ANP in the development of agile responses for the VUCA (volatile, uncertain, complex and ambiguous) environments we currently operate in. Our issue concludes with an interview with Dr. Leandro Pecchia, who is at the coronavirus (COVID-19) decision making front lines in Italy.
