Call for papers "Management Information Systems"

Management information system broadly refers to a computer-based system that provides managers with the tools to organize, evaluate and efficiently manage departments within an organization. In order to provide past, present and prediction information, a management information system can include software that helps in decision making, data resources such as databases, the hardware resources of a system, decision support systems, people management and project management applications, and any computerized processes that enable the department to run efficiently. The goal of this special issue is to provide a platform for scientists and academicians all over the world to promote, share, and discuss various new issues and developments in this area of management information systems.

In this special issue, researchers are invited to submit original research and review articles that explore management information systems. In this special issue, potential topics include, but are not limited to:

  • Advantages of management information systems
  • Enterprise applications
  • Development of management information systems
  • Decision support system
  • Executive information systems
