ICDSST 2022

The Euro Working Group on Decision Support Systems (EWG-DSS), under the umbrella of EURO (the Association of European Operational Research Societies), invites you to participate in the 8^th International Conference on Decision Support System Technology (ICDSST 2022), with its main theme on “Decision Support addressing modern Industry, Business and Societal needs” in Thessaloniki, Greece. The Conference will be hosted at University of Macedonia, during the period of 23^th May to 25^th May 2022.

Decision Support Systems (DSS) are designed to assist Policymakers (and not only) to tackle issues that are increasingly complex, trying to navigate the different objectives of multiple and diverse stakeholders, while attempting to take decisions that are robust under different circumstances and do not produce undesirable consequences. Therefore, there is a concrete need to generate knowledge from information as well as from models relying on that information. In addition, in the modern digital age, theoretical and technological advances allow DSSs to better model human decisionmaking capabilities. The new business models of this era accentuate the demand for a customized and intelligent decision support able of meeting the needs of modern industry, business, and society.

The Organising Committee of the ICDSST 2022 invites researchers, educators, developers, specialists and other professionals in the related areas of decision-making, including its methodologies and technologies, as well as application oriented practitioners directed to the implementation of solutions for decision support challenges, to submit their work to the ICDSST 2022 Conference.
