Due to increasing interest to attend our conference the registration and abstract submission for the international conference "Landscape Management: From Data to Decision" is extended to July 16, 2018!
The conference will be held on September 17-19, 2018 in Prague, Czech Republic.
A special issue of Forests (ISSN 1999-4907) belonging to the section "Forest Ecology and Management" is organized by Jan Kašpar, Róbert Marušák, Harald Vacik and Pete Bettinger regarding the topic "Forest Landscape Management: From Data to Decision". The deadline for manuscript submissions is 15 March 2019.
The LandsCare project has launched an app generator which enables landscape managers to share information on natural spaces with visitors, directly to their mobiles.
LandsCare lets people know about their surroundings, who cares for them and how they are managed.
Visitors can also contribute to the conservation of their dedicated space by buying a virtual stamp, which then gives access to certain local offers and information on local producers.
