The experience of Decision Support Tool implementation in the Forest Industry of the UK has been slow and patchy to start with, but then more enthusiastic after a period (years) of consideration.
We are interested to explore whether the involvement of stakeholders throughout the development and implementation phase reduces the development and implementation time and why. The STSM opportunity is for a review of the PTD literature and assess this hypothesis. In particular we are interested in whether the PTD approach can improve the implementation phase for complex methods and approaches and tools.
